Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU (Night Shift) Location: Chicago, Illinois, USA Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent (Direct Placement / Project Deployment) Shift: Nights | 19:00 - 07:00 (12-hour shifts) Openings: 3 Positions Available Experience Required: 2 to 20 Years --- About the Project & Opportunity Our UK-based international recruitment agency is managing a specialized talent deployment project for a premier healthcare facility in Chicago, Illinois. We are actively identifying three (3) highly skilled Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurses for permanent, direct-hire night shift placements. This project is tailored for critical care nurses seeking to transition their skills to a high-caliber US hospital environment equipped with state-of-the-art clinical infrastructure. What You Will Do - Deliver expert, high-acuity nursing care to critically ill patients within a fast-paced ICU environment. - Monitor complex patient hemodynamics, interpret telemetry data, and manage advanced ICU technologies (including ventilators and CRRT). - Safely titrate complex vasoactive drips and manage emergency cardiac and respiratory protocols. - Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of intensivists, specialists, and support staff to optimize patient outcomes. - Provide empathetic communication and support to patients' families during critical clinical events. What We Are Looking For (Compliance & Requirements) - Clinical Experience: 2 to 20 years of recent, dedicated acute care experience in an ICU/ITU setting. - US Licensure: Passed the NCLEX-RN and hold (or be eligible for) an active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license from the Illinois State Board of Nursing. - Visa & Verification: Must hold a valid CGFNS VisaScreen Certificate (or be in the final stages of the process) to satisfy US federal screening requirements for occupational visa deployment. - Core Certifications: Valid BLS and ACLS certifications. Possession of a CCRN certificate is highly advantageous. - Key Skills: Advanced clinical judgement, rapid decision-making capabilities, and strong emotional resilience for night shift critical care.
