Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - MedSurg / Telemetry (Day & Night Shifts) Location: Chicago, Illinois, USA Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent (Direct Placement / Project Deployment) Shift Options: Day Shift (07:00 - 19:00) & Night Shift (19:00 - 07:00) | 12-hour shifts Openings: 10 Positions Available Experience Required: 2 to 15 Years --- About the Project & Opportunity Our UK-based international recruitment agency is managing a high-volume talent deployment project for a premier healthcare network in Chicago, Illinois. We are actively identifying ten (10) skilled Medical-Surgical and Telemetry Registered Nurses for permanent, direct-hire placements across both day and night shifts. This project offers an exceptional pathway for qualified professional nurses to successfully transition their clinical skills into a top-tier US hospital system utilizing advanced progressive care infrastructure. What You Will Do - Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients acute conditions requiring medical-surgical interventions or continuous cardiac telemetry monitoring. - Monitor, interpret, and accurately respond to cardiac rhythms, identifying arrhythmias or critical changes in patient hemodynamic stability. - Administer medications, manage intravenous therapies, and coordinate post-operative or acute recovery care plans. - Collaborate dynamically with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, hospitalists, and support staff to optimize patient outcomes and discharge workflows. - Deliver clear, compassionate clinical education and support to patients and their families throughout the duration of their stay. What We Are Looking For (Compliance & Requirements) - Clinical Experience: 2 to 15 years of recent, dedicated acute care experience in a MedSurg, Telemetry, or Progressive Care unit. - US Licensure: Passed the NCLEX-RN and hold (or be eligible for) an active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license from the Illinois State Board of Nursing. - Visa & Verification: Must hold a valid CGFNS/TruMerit VisaScreen Certificate (or be in the final stages of the process) to satisfy US federal screening requirements for occupational visa deployment. - Core Certifications: Valid BLS and ACLS (AHA approved) certifications. - Key Skills: Strong proficiency in telemetry strip interpretation, sharp clinical judgment, and the adaptability to excel in a high-volume ward environment.
