We are actively seeking one (1) Field Service Engineer to support hardware, software systems, and automated machinery onsite at customer facilities. This role requires an engineer with strong mechanical and IT troubleshooting skills to perform system installations, regular maintenance, and urgent technical support. What You Will Do - Provide onsite engineering support including the installation, commissioning, calibration, and upgrading of complex tech infrastructure or automated manufacturing hardware. - Diagnosed complex hardware faults and software errors on-site, performing systematic troubleshooting to minimize equipment downtime. - Execute preventative and corrective maintenance routines in strict accordance with technical documentation and facility safety protocols. - Act as the direct technical point of contact for local clients, explaining system issues, service outcomes, and technical workflows with clarity. - Accurately document field service logs, technical anomalies, and parts utilization reports to ensure alignment between regional offices and global engineering databases. What We Are Looking For (Compliance & Requirements) - Technical Experience: 3 to 5 years of solid experience working as a Field Service Engineer, Hands-on Technical Support Engineer, or Maintenance Technician within high-tech, semiconductor, or advanced industrial automation sectors. - Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in reading schematic diagrams, diagnosing electro-mechanical faults, testing network configurations, and working with software-hardware interfaces. - Language Skills: Business-level communication skills are highly preferred. A functional understanding of basic Japanese (for local team and vendor interaction) alongside English is an advantage for navigating regional Japanese facilities. - Mobility: Valid local or international driving authorization (if required for field visits) and the physical capability to perform precision maintenance on technical machinery. - Core Attributes: Exceptional hands-on problem-solving skills, strong autonomy in the field, and a commitment to strict facility safety operational policies.
